I've search the Internet far and wide for a definition of "slobberknocker," but noone has ever heard of it. You will have to help me with this one...what is the closest english word to 'slobberknocker?'
That's just a phrase for a football game thats all about fighting for every yard and brute force strength running on the ground. Not pretty or high scoring but back and forth and ugly. Here's a real definition:

That sounds like a fantastic definition! Not to be confused with 'fart-knocker' which has a completely different definition!
