Rest In Peace Mr. King

  1. I'm sure he's rolled over in his grave from the racism that spews from Al Sharpton's tiny brain.

Boy, now THERE's a shining example of black leadership.

  2. I'm sure he has rolled over in his grave from people thinking he would be in step with a democrat party that favors gay marriage and the killing of unborn children. He may not even like that they think he was a democrat.

  3. Oh, just for the record - MLK is a good man. You might hear some rumblings about a comment I made over at Z's blog, but there's absolutely no apologies coming from me over it since I call it like I see it.

And that's just how I roll.

MLK is a hero of mine.
I know he wasn't perfect, and I hate what the Dems have done to his legacy. I hope his dreams really do come true someday.

  5. Steve..no rumblings..from whom? You're entitled to your opinion! I'm glad you contributed it.

Pops...wonderful video and appropriate lyrics. I couldn't help wondering what Dr King would be thinking about so many Black Muslims today. I think he'd grieve.
I need to look into the relationship between him and Malcolm X, for example...
I remember when the Lakers' Keith Wilkes became Jamal Wilkes, son of a Baptist minister! Daddy so sadly said "Honey, think what his father's feeling now." I think Dr King would have felt like Wilkes' Dad.
