Sorry Michael. Seattle is my wife's team. I'm actually a Chiefs fan and you see how well they did this year. They finished 4 and 12 and the Redskins went to the playoffs with KC's old backup quarterback that KC was never smart enough to play.

I've search the Internet far and wide for a definition of "slobberknocker," but noone has ever heard of it. You will have to help me with this one...what is the closest english word to 'slobberknocker?'
That's just a phrase for a football game thats all about fighting for every yard and brute force strength running on the ground. Not pretty or high scoring but back and forth and ugly. Here's a real definition:
slobber-knocker n. especially in American football, a powerful collision or a match featuring unusual phsyical violence or intense play; (hence) also in other sports, an exciting game; an exciting or emotional event. Also v., slobber-knock, to hit with extreme force; to decleat; also figurative.
That sounds like a fantastic definition! Not to be confused with 'fart-knocker' which has a completely different definition!
