Shameless pandering

Okay, so this is a little off subject for our normal posts. We were looking at our neo-counter and realized that we have no visitors from Africa or Antarctica. This, my friends, is unacceptable. This post is a shameless pandering for someone to find bloggers from Africa and Antarctica to visit here so we can have all 7 continents covered. PLEASE HELP US!!!

Thank you so much for visiting my Bazungu Bucks Blog.

I really wonder if there is anyone blogging from Antarctica? That's something I'll have to check out.

But I know there are many African bloggers and that set me thinking about what's the best way to start a conversation.

One great place to find out about blogs around the world is Global Voices and another great place to look for African blogs is Afrigator both places you can sort by country.

There are a couple of blogs you might like to check out. First is Buchele Ghana Adventure It's a family blog about two Americans living with their family in Ghana and the posts are often moving. Because of uploading photos was easier they also have a blog at xanga but there are links to those posts at that link.

Second is William Kamkwamba's Malawi Windmill Blog. Visit a few African blogs and leave a comment here and there and before you know it you'll have African readers.

Have fun! There are so many wonderful, smart, blessed people all over and it's great to connect.

Thanks so much, John. I spent two months in Nigeria, West Africa back in 1993 and have wished to visit again ever since. The Nigerians that I met were strong and kind and I admire them. I was particularly fond of those I met in Abuja. Thank you for the blog suggestions!

Thank you Jungle Mom!!! You've probably been to as many countries as are on our our neo-counter.

I've gotten hits from South Africa; I'll check back with them, and see if they're still around.

I don't know if there are any bloggers in Antarctica, though. I have had visitors from New Zealand, which is the southernmost populated, large, landmass....

if you look at the global incident map - it also has nearly no incidents of ANYTHING - it is not as civilized south of the equator.

(does it help that my ancestors were from Africa? lol)

Good day!
