I could not make it to a TEA Party today. I got a call at work from my daughter's school saying that she was in the nurse's office and needed picked up from school. I got permission to leave work and went and picked her up and spent the day caring for her. My spirit was certainly with those who were attending one of the hundreds of parties around the nation though. But as always, family first.

That is the essence of the Tea Parties. Providing for your children, taking care of their needs, being the parent instead of the government being the parent.

Our tea party was a disaster. I met up with Misfit....it was HORRIBLE. Go check out our blogs reporting on it.
Now, that's putting first things first. Hope she's doing better, always praying for you and yours.

The one in the town where I work was well organized, well attended, and well received by passers by. I don't know if it will do any good, but if it doesn't , it won't be for lack of trying.
Our kids always come first, no other choice. I'm with Leslie, this is what the Tea Parties are about.
