Someone's Got Some Explaining To Do

“For the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my country,” she told a Milwaukee crowd today, “and not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change.”

To be fair, I would hope this is not what she meant to convey to people. Certainly she has been proud of our country at some point in the past 26 years since she was 18 years old. After all, much has happened since 1982. Statements like these should not be overlooked though. There is a stark difference between this statement and the non-verbal statement of giving one's life to serve in the military and spending 5 years in the Hanoi Hilton to defend our country out of love and pride for America. An exceedingly wise man once said "from the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks."

Exaggerating can be an ugly mistake.

Jason..I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that!

It almost seems as if certain ones are trying to imply that Obama is the Messiah who will make the whole world a better place.

I have my own thoughts on this, but will keep them to myself.

I don't think they're hungry for the kind of change she has in mind...

Did she miss the coming down of the Berlin Wall when she was 25? Did she miss EVERYTHING America's done in so many years?

NOTHING is a matter of pride to them but getting their way, apparently...after all "Barack HAS 'done well'"..let's face it!

We are witnessing the beginning of the end!

P.S. I thougth you were bringing to our attention that Mrs. Obama was wearing her bath robe at a public speech and that Barak failed to cover his heart during the singing of the National Anthem like every red-blooded American does, especially government officials - the failure to cover his heart is interesting... perhaps a crack in his facade?
