McCain Rally in my Neighborhood

I had the privilege today of attending a McCain rally that was just down the road from my house. I actually come home from work, parked my motorcycle in the garage, and could walk over to the rally in about 5 minutes time. My mother and father were there a few hours early and so they got the privilege of standing right against the front rail. John McCain walked over and shook my mother's hand. One of my wife's former students, that was in her choir, got to sing the national anthem for the event. Senator Lindsey Graham from South Carolina was there as well to introduce John McCain. Several of the local Republican candidates were there as well. John McCain is very personable and a man of great stature and stage presence. He is so genuine, calm, and reassuring. I can not wait to vote for this great American hero.

How refreshing to see real, true Americans who want what is best for our country.

Come on now, Frank. He's not all that great of a guy, but hey, I am voting for him too, even though (grudgingly) he's for amnesty for illegal immigrants, supports the UN, member of CFR, etc.

Put him up against Obama though, and he IS a hero.

I guess you weren't one of the 100.000+ at the Peace Arch for the Obama rally.

No, I was one of the several thousand at a McCain rally in rural America where Obama never goes. What with the clinging to our guns and true religion and all he gets all nervous.

Most of the 100,000 in Berlin turned on Obama after the glow of a nice weathered evening, bratwurst, beer and free music died down, too.. It was sad, our media only reported they LOVED HIM...but the media, even the leftist media (their is relatively honest there, by the way.NO editorials on the front page, like ours until the leftist indoctrination in our universities made it impossible to be honest in the pink glow of socialism) took 3 days to start writing "Empty Suit" and "Would they like it if our candidates spoke at the Lincoln Memorial?"

Ya, people get heated up....THE BIG HAPPENING! I wonder if the arch looked good with Greek Obama Columns nearby!?

I LOVED your story of real Americans visiting a real American candidate, Pops! Thanks! I doubt you'll find an Obama voter there, but these people will go home and talk about mcCain. Good stuff.
