I would like to take a moment and pause the political banter here at my blog to urge people to pray for Barack Obama's grandmother Madelyn Dunham. My prayers are with her to be raised to health and strength. I also pray for safety for Barack as he travels to Hawaii to be with her. Family is so very important and that is a sentiment that does not belong to politics or political parties but rather belongs to all humanity.

I've been praying for her, too. And for Obama. No matter what we feel about him personally, he is hurting right now.

And obama' grandmother did the best she could. From what I have read, she was the mother his own couldn't be.
