I see this as shameful and an embarassment for the dems. Of course they would rationalize it and try to explain it away somehow.

It is nothing more than an a disgusting display from the liberally biased MSM. At least now we know that it isn't a figment of the minds of the vast right wing conspriacy anymore. The MSM has been exposed.

Bush was inaugurated, Obama was coronated, so I guess that explains the difference, eh?

Ann Coulter has an interesting column on this subject today...

The 42 million does NOT including expenses for security and other items paid for by the government.

The number quoted for Obama does.

Whatever. The far right is going to be completely marginalized in the next eight years after their colossal screwups.

Once again, duckling, you are not arguing with us but rather with history. Not to mention that the numbers are inconsequential. The point is the media bias that people like you have denied for years. The media has always been against us and yet we still manage to get in office the majority of the time and rescue the country from having it's military slashed and dashed and it's coffers emptied. Obama is about to spend as much in his first couple of weeks as Bush spent in Iraq in 6 years.

And that's really saying something since Bush is the least financially conservative President that Republicans have put up in a long time.

It's beyond me when governments see people as citizens instead of as human beings. I would never dictate to an adult how to live their life. Sure it's up for discussion and I can try to sway them, but to actually tell people what to do as if you are smarter than ALL of them is disgusting and takes a particularly horrible kind of person.

It's good to see you back out and about, Shaina!!!

I think you've said all that needs to be said, for the next 4 years, by comparing those headlines...

Whilst they have a reputation for eating most things including vegetation and weeds, this should not form the basis of their diet. It is arguably inhumane (should be illegal) to imprison in solitary confinement a creature designed for the freedom of the wild.
