Do I have the best of friends, or what?! Thank you for your kind words. This is my memoir for a few reasons. The first is that I am a big fan of children's literature and think that Pooh is a wonderful and simplistic character with a brilliance in his simplicity. The second is that I often need reminded to think, think, think before I act. And the third is that God has chosen the simmple things to confound the wise. I think simplicity equates to uncluttered thinking.

good one Brother...and a smart way to look at things....I thought about the Book of James when you mentioned the thinking before you act or thinking before you speak

Elbro -- James is my personal favorite book. Have you ever come across the translation of the New Testament entitled The Message by Eugene Peterson? Here's how he puts what you're describing about the book of James.

"Post this at all the intersections, dear friends: Lead with your ears, follow up with your tongue, and let anger straggle along in the rear. God's righteousness doesn't grow from human anger. So throw all spoiled virtue and cancerous evil in the garbage. In simple humility, let our gardener, God, landscape you with the Word, making a salvation-garden of your life." -- James 1:19 - 21
