Ought To Be

It's so very sad to me. Life is just so bent. God has written His story on our hearts so that we know when things are not as they ought to be. "Things like this ought not happen." How many time have you heard those words? Everyone knows this because everyone has God's story written on their hearts whether they acknowledge it or not, whether they love the story or hate it. The Bible says that creation groans and suffers and as a part of that creation I can feel the suffering and long for a day when creation will be renewed and set right. A day when things will indeed be as they ought to be.

I Corinthians 13:12 -- "Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known."

We do try, but then, there are too many who ignore that prompting from within.
Or are never taught what it is and how it is to be used.
So the bent become misshapen and folded over, and never become all that we are called and created to be.

It is my faith that holds on to me, Angel. I trust that you had a blessed and joyous Passover. All that food over at your place looked great!

We pray for the arrival of Mashiach. All will be redeemed when he arrives!

Jason..someday things will be made right again, but meanwhile the innocent suffer.

BTW..I did wish you a happy birthday, but it must not have published..unless I put it on the wrong post...sighhh,

Anyway, it sounds like your birthday was wonderful..just the way a birthday should be!

Love you, Jason.

I think you are a fantastic father and husband.

Jason, sometimes it's too much to bear, too much to acknowledge. Like Daniel said, our hope, our living hope is that all will be right when the Lord returns.
I know His heart breaks when he sees injustice on the innocent. His heart breaks every day.
Just reading the verse you put in your post gives me courage...this is but a poor reflection. Oh, the joy that awaits us.

The Lord always keeps His promises. Therein is our Comfort.

The world is definitely in an inverted-morality mode. But He won't let that condition continue forever.

"life is one big s**t sandwich, and every day you have to take a bite."

That about sums it up sometimes.

It's nice to know that there are more people out there that not only recognize that our world is bent but long for the one who will set it right.

hardly a day goes by anymore that i don't say that or a similar phrase to myself. if it weren't for my faith in God and His in me, i don't know how badly i'd be faltering - probably on a second to second basis. i love HIM so much i could just burst!
