Ducky -- I'm very excited about it.
Hermit -- That must have been awesome! My parents spent a year in Taiwan and they had the privilege of taking part in the celebration and fireworks for the Chinese New Year. They said it completely overshadowed every firework display they had ever seen. Given that we were sitting on the docks in NYC for the reopening firework celebration for the Statue of Liberty I'd say that was saying a lot.
Salubrina - na-na-na-na-naaaaa-na!!! By the way, that's an excellent lesson for your students. One of my teachers in middle school told us on the first day of class that he was going to have favorites as in reality it is impossible not to. We all prefer one food over another or one color over another or one person over another. His honesty there has always stuck with me and I am thankful to him for it.
Not to rain on your parade, but I thought you might be interested to know that Blogojevich is going to prison, along with our last governor Ryan. Perfect ground for a scheming president to emerge if you ask me.
I saw that! Typical democrat morals. Our entire country will be up for sale soon. The Presidency was just bought so who knows what else can be purchased.
